Owing to the rear axle on car 3.B.50. being changed from a temporary one with a ratio of 9/37 to the proper one with a ratio of 11/41 the speedometer for this car needs re-calibrating. Will you, therefore, please arrange for Bentley instrument No.2183 to be sent to the makers and the calibration altered from its present value of 700 revs/mile to 640 revs/mile.
