(3) Clutch Failures.
Smith.
We have got to find out what is the average life of the standard clutch in these cases of failure. As far as we can ascertain, fitting the Borg & Beck centre plate and flywheel to suit costs as much as replacing the centre plate and re-lining the pa{Mr Paterson} clutch three times with the standard parts. In many cases it must be better policy to go straight for the Borg & Beck clutch, once a customer has found that he can destroy the standard parts in a short time. We want information on what is actually happening, so that we can take the matter up with the Administration.

(4) Oil Leaks from Rocker Covers & Tappet Doors.
Swindall.
This seems to be a job we can follow up on the test bed; we should like the matter to receive attention.

(5) Noisy Speedometer Drive.
West.
We have never had a noisy speedometer drive on an American car; we very rarely get into a Bentley without being plagued by the flexible drives, and the same thing applies to a number of Ph.III's. We have got to settle this complaint. What is the American practice and where do we differ from it ?

(6) Carburetters Flooding.
Ratcliffe.
Will you please find out from Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} how many of these cases occurred after the filter had been fitted.

(7) Oil Leak from Rear Axle Casing.
Grylls.
Are you satisfied that the present practice will prevent this recurring ?
