re. GOK-27. Edwards, Bournemouth, Demonstration Car.

With reference to CWB's memo CW B1/GM21.5.26. this chassis was passed by CWB. prior to leaving the Works.

The only comment raised at the time was the steering, but it was agreed by him that it was up to the usual Standard of 20-HP. Steering.

If it is agreed that the latest friction device should be fitted, we recommend that the Experimental Dept. should send a man to carry out this alteration.
In regard to these parts, please refer to our memo EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 6/H1.4.26. to EY, Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and EWT. pointing out that CJ. had given his approval for 12 sets of this new friction device to be prepared for dealing with cases of complaint, and asking for these parts to be put in hand.
