LE17/C/19.12.35 Re Independent Switches for Headlamps --------- I have looked into the question of putting an independent fuse on each headlamp and suggest that a bottle fuse is fitted on to the main feed wire into each lamp. This would mean that if any part of the lamp or wire inside the lamp was to give trouble, the fuse in the particular lamp only would blow. It is very unlikely that our main feed wire will give trouble. Of course, if it does, this scheme will not prevent a black-out. If a fuse in the lamp blew it would be necessary to dismantle the lamp just as one has to if a fuse blows in the dipper.
