Intake Silencer.
The A.C. air intake silencer and cleaner is fitted. These silence by obtaining some sort of damping resonance and tube dia. I will send one over when I have been to the A.C.Co., and discussed it more fully with them.

Rubber Engine Mounting.
Their rubber engine mounting is made from two pressings as in the sketch. The engine rests on the top rubber and is prevented from leaping about by the bottom rubber much as in our 25 HP mounting. The area of rubber taking the load is about twice ours. They use four engine feet and two feet behind the gearbox. The rubber is softer than anything we have used and the gear lever movement is quite as bad as we had on 25-EX. But they say that no body seems to mind this. They lay considerable stress on the improvement in smoothness that they get from this mounting i.e. the 12 cyl unit does not permit itself to be tied rigidly in the frame.

(See sketch over page.)
