With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWHl/MJ8-1-31, detailing the defects which developed in the coachwork of this car, we had hoped when it was in London last week that Park Wards would have an opportunity of inspecting the body and reporting on the trouble which had been experienced. Unfortunately, however, it was not possible to give them such an opportunity. Do you know whether the car is likely to be in London in the near future and if so, when. Will you also please say whether the stone guards which gave trouble were fitted to the front or rear wings and on which wings did you find the bolts to be of cheap, common iron. Hn.{F. C.
