Bailey - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG13.8.28. PHANTOM STEERING. X7430 X7810 We attach a note from OY. which confirms our results that with 1/2" increased off-set of the wheels we get an improved steering. We hope this will be adopted on the new axle for the 'SS{S. Smith}' Phantom. As regards the effect of out of balance of wheel and tyre - we are actually better off with the wheels further out because at present if the wheel is out of balance we get violent high speed wobbles. This fault is greatly reduced when the above modification is carried out. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
