Temperature tests on a car, comparing results with windows open versus shut, and with asbestos proofing.

After lunch Probably car not warm under body.
5th Test. Standard car Windows shut.
Start Front 49°C. Rear 27°C.
Finish " 52°C. " 40°C.

6th Test. Standard car. Windows open.
Start Front 49°C Rear 32.5°C
Finish " 50°C " 41°C.

Atmosphere 16°C. to 54°F.{Mr Friese}

Start from Works with asbestos proof & windows closed
Temperature varies with road from 38° to 44°C. When car stopped 50°
When windows open temperature drops to 36°C. & is still dropping at Ashbourne. The temperature varied during the day from 16° to 21° and at times it rained hard.
Two tests made with standard car & asbestos only.
