Re Experimental Cars.

21.4.15.

With reference to your recent suggestion that you would like to sell "The Mystery" and use a chassis on which are fitted a number of Northcliffe or Williamson parts, we would like to explain the whole position to you, particularly as we ourselves thought that the present time might be opportune for selling one of our old experimental cars.

The experimental cars we now have are:-

Chassis 1926, which is the only car we have with old type central brake. Mr Royce occasionally requests comparative tests to be made with this type of transmission, but at the present moment we are not using this car for any special work.

The next oldest car is 2300 which has double rear brakes and on which are several experiments but nothing of any very great importance.

The next car is 7CA which ran in last year's Spanish Trials. This is at present with Mr Royce for his use until 58NA{Mr Nadin} can be returned to him. It is fitted with several experiments but all of which could be removed without much trouble to another chassis.
