B/W...REC. c. to Eg. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} -> Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} COPY 202 C3/C8.6.37 BENTLEY CHASSIS. MODIFIED REAR WHEEL DRIVER. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/EMG3.6.37. We note you are despatching 6 pairs of new Drivers to K.{Mr Kilner} at once and that these have been delayed owing to your note having received an official order from them. At first sight this appears rather 'red tape-y' but on making enquiries I find that Cricklewood follow this system in respect of all parts and it appears to work all right. I understand that no invoices are passed. I am instructing K.{Mr Kilner} to send you an official order and to adopt this method in future in respect of modifications they are waiting for. C. | ||
