-5- I think careful ribbing of the bracket should be carried out as soon as possible. I suggested in my previous report on the breakage of chassis 1484 that all cars coming into the Repair Shops should have rivets changed to bolts, but I have not yet received any reply. I do not know whether Mr Royce agreed with the analysis of that breakage. The most important point is I consider, for both brackets to be attached securely to the side member. It should be noted that the flecture of the front horns can best be prevented by a cross member connecting them at their front ends, the difficulty in connection with this being of course the starting handle.
