To E.F.C Order No P.B. 31 Customer's No. X 4342 L Report on Lucas Starter Motor Type 4880 This motor is a rather neat machine. Like the C.A.V. machines it has a nickel plated carcase. The field coils are neatly wound and are a good fit round the pole shoes, the shoes themselves being solid, well finished, and secured by two screws. All connections are well carried out, the main terminals being set well apart. Brush holders of the box type are fitted, with spiral wire springs the whole being insulated by a disc of continental bakelite on each Signed Cont'd. {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
