PEREGRINE STEERING.

We send herewith N. sch. 3822, shewing the modifications to the Peregrine steering column to provide for a larger carburetter.

It will be seen that the J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 2. carburetter slightly flatted will go in, but we understand there is some question as to whether so large a carburetter will be used.

It will be noticed that we have xxxxxxx reduced the diameter of the column to 1.750 from 2", but the box dimensions have not been reduced.

Since this drawing was made it has been proposed that we should scale the steering down in a proportion of .8 of the 20/25HP. We are dealing with this proposal now, but in the meanwhile send you this drawing as offering the quickest solution of the difficulty.
