Dear Sirs,

We have pleasure in stating that we have now despatched the special radiator thermometer to drawing F.72508, and your order No. 38296, and shall be glad to have your comments on it. You will appreciate that in the time allowed us we have only been able to modify our existing design to your requirements by altering existing material, it being obviously impossible to develop tools for the case and ring in the time at our disposal. As regards the protection of the dial, in this case we have adopted a celluliod covering cap, rather than the suggested pressing originally referred to. If you approve the design and propose to place orders we should naturally like as long a notice as possible in order that proper manufacturing steps may be taken.

Yours faithfully,
For CAMBRIDGE INSTRUMENT CO. LTD+

J.L.O.
Asst. Works Manager.
