Re : PATENT SELF ADJUSTING TAPPETS. ------------------------------------- Some few years ago a number of patent specifications were submitted to us in connection with self adjusting tappets, and we fancy these may have been returned to you. Could you please say if you have any record of them. We are particularly interested in the one, or possibly two, in which the clearance was taken up by means of oil introduced into a cylindrical tappet having a plunger with a non-return valve.
