Drop Forged Connecting Rod - 25-30 HP. and Bentley. We send you herewith:- LeC.4888 showing a black connecting rod as can be made by the Brett Billings people. Owing to the fact that we have broken the lugs on B.1. we have taken this opportunity to strengthen them, and also on the cap we have added a small web and features for balancing the rods. The cap of the rod is now shaped so that the nuts can be satisfactorily box spannered. The strengthening of the lugs and the addition of the web to the cap makes the banjo swing larger at the top and bottom of the stroke. This means kinking the oil gallery pipe a little more and reducing the height of the oil strainer in the bottom half of the sump. These features are dealt with on LeC.4903. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} LeC's 4888 and 4903 herewith. | ||
