INSTRUCTION PLATE FOR WATFORD RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1 MAGNETO.

We have duly tested these instruction plates with petrol, and the following is copied from my assistant's report :-

"On the occasion of his last visit to the Works, Mr. North handed to us six of the above plates as fixed on the top of the RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1 magnetos. Complaint had been made that petrol draining from the Autovac when cleaning it out had obliterated the enamelled instructions on these aluminium plates and these six were printed or treated so as to be petrol proof.

We immersed two of these plates in petrol for 24 hours at the end of which they appeared quite O.K. and could be rubbed briskly with a rag without any obliteration of the print."

We return the plates herewith.
