-2- (9) Thermostat outlet to LeC.5655 with thermostat supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. (10) Water thermometer to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. (11) Water hose connections in Leyland P.R. rubber hose (Spec. 1633.K.) and Klingerite joint washers. (12) Fan as already instructed (blades as Wraith) but having lubricator removed and plug substituted - hub to be packed with grease. (13) A set of 4 aluminium drums are required, as follows:- Front drums to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}336, soaked for 70 hours at 170° to 190°. Liners to be Millenite, nickel plated with .0005 or .001 deposit thickness. Four lock plates Ex.21593 per drum required and plates and rivets, but no dowel screws. Interference to be .026" - .030". Rear drums to GB.2406. There are two such drums ready in the Shop, we want both liners removing and new Millenite liners fitting, nickel plated on the outside. Inference .026" to .030" Steering levers GB.2059/60 required for the front, and the long anti-judder levers GB.2388 with bushes as elsewhere specified. Ferodo M.L. on all foot brake shoes. Alum. drums front and rear. - see above. Bearings for anti-judder N.Sch.4865 as follows:- Spindle GB.2338 to be case hardened and bushes in "Etona" Phosphor Bronze (similar to the set instructed for 1.B.lV. in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}14/JH.9.4.37) Oiling scheme GL.{G. Linnett}833 on rear brakes. Stiffened toggles N.Sch.51 29 (if ready) (14) Wraith steering to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}342 originally instructed for B.23.AE. (15) Bumper bar to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}284/5 exactly as fitted to 3.B.lV. with rubber washers and lead weights removed from 6.B.lV. (16) Servo as on 6.B.lV. (17) Wheel drivers and rear hubs. Use same parts off 6.B.lV. if not damaged, or new parts to the same drawings. continued | ||
