Dear Sirs,

We have tested the sample mounting which you sent to us recently and the deflections under varying loads are tabulated below. As you will see the results are surprisingly close to the samples which we have made for you.

If, as you say, the results you have obtained from 'A' mounting are the best so far, it would appear that there is an advantage to be gained through the use of stretched rubber in place of the free rubber which you employ.
