(BRANCH EXCHANGE) PLEASE QUOTE REF: GAUGE DEPT. 38, HOLBORN VIADUCT, LONDON, E.C.1 Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Feby. 20th 1923. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your favour of the 16th inst., reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG, and beg to advise you that we have forwarded to you the 7" dial Gauge with an extended scale of 60 to 120 lbs per square inch which will probably cover the range of pressures that are of interest to you. You will find that the connection fits the nut sent to you, and if you do not require the small dial Gauge you have received, we shall be glad if you will let us have same back. Of course the larger Gauge is more expensive than the 60 m.m. Gauge supplied with the Acrometer, but for the moment we do not know the price of the individual parts of the Acrometer, and are therefore in doubt as to how much we should allow you for the small Gauge should you wish to return it. This matter however can be settled when we work out the costs, and we shall be glad if you can make use of the larger Gauge. NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA We are, dear Sirs, Yours truly, R.{Sir Henry Royce} e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Ford | ||
