B. 56. BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} - BENTLEY.

One Axle shaft, a Cross Steering tube, and a pair of springs, which we requested them to despatch to us temporarily.

We had to dismantle the stub axles & brake mechanisms from the bent front axle and fitted these on to the new axle shaft. Only the near side spring had to be replaced, the off side was found to be in good condition.

We are hoping to have the car ready for the road by to-morrow morning and continue with the test.
A further report will follow, giving you details of the parts fitted and any defects noticeable.
