base and which, being absolutely water and dust proof, affords efficient protection to the parts within.

Armature. The armature core is easily adaptable for variable ignition. The contact breaker fixed on the front, by being regulated to right or left permits the direction of rotation to be changed at will.

The improved break device, particularly on account of the length of the lever arm, induces a very quick break, an excellent condition to obtain a fat spark. The simplicity and strength of the parts guarantee the durability and good working of this device.

The make and break mechanism, brush holder and condenser are fixed on the upper part of the front of the magneto.

All parts being very accessible can be taken apart without the least difficulty. A light aluminium case which fastens itself automatically by a double spring hermetically seals the whole against water and dust.

Safety Gap. The turning system of the safety gap renders it a very simple article of manufacture. A point cut in a ring forming part of the distributor gear allows the spark to flash upon the brush, fixed on the same axis at 7mm. distance.

This very important organ is intended to preserve the insulation of the armature against high voltages, defective plugs, short circuits, too wide gaps between the
