Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 31st ult., and in response to your kind invitation, I propose driving up to Derby either on Monday or Tuesday the 5th or 6th. It will probably be Monday if it is reasonably fine arriving at the Works about 2.0. p.m.

You will then be able to examine the instruments I have made and judge whether they are likely to be of interest to the Company.

Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Wykeham A.{Mr Adams} Robinson.
