The performance and testing of K.L.G. Corundite, Bosch, and Lodge sparking plugs.

| 600 from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/W.Brazier. c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 22.1.37. K.L.G. CORUNDITE SPARKING PLUGS. We have fitted K.L.G. Corundite sparking plugs to the following cars - 35-EX. K.L.G.171 all cylinders, inlet and exhaust. 36-EX. K.L.G.172 " " " " " 37-EX. K.L.G.172 All cylinders, inlet. K.L.G.173 " " exhaust. K.L.G.932 taken from 37-EX. These plugs have completed 7034 miles without complaint. The central electrodes have worn with a consequent increase in the spark gaps .005" to .008", but appear to be running at the right temperature. Bosch W.145.TI. Taken from 36-EX. Lodge RL.14. The Bosch plugs have run 1344 miles and the Lodge 1522 miles without complaint. A fair amount of carbon on both types gives the impression they are running too cool, but the mileage has not been sufficient to prove their worth.
