(Air Pressure) We are arranging that oil coolers and matrix units on Ph.III. chassis shall be pressure tested (when doubtful) in position on the chassis at Service Depots. For this purpose we should like you to detail and instruct the necessary test apparatus - the essentials required are (a) A connections to the oil cooler with a Schrader valve attachment and a connection for a pressure gauge (200 lbs/sq.in. one) (b) A pressure gauge reading up to 200 lbs/sq.in. (c) A blanking plug with a tap in it for the other outlet from cooler. It is urgently necessary for these parts to be available for Service Depots at the earliest possible moment.
