Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}13/G.3.5.38. WRAITH ENGINE UNIT. We want the centre of gravity of the above, in the side elevation, that is, the distance vertically from the crankshaft centre line and horizontally from some datum line. We have often tried to get this information, but so far have not succeeded. Now we want it to fill in the Manganese Bronze Co's questionnaire, rather urgently. Is it possible to do something about it? We have the position of the centre of gravity horizontally from the crankshaft centre line in the end elevation. We also want the moment of inertia of the unit about an axis through the centre of gravity and parallel to the crankshaft centre line. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
