Phantom Piston.
We send you herewith drawing:-
LeC.3878 showing various modifications to overcome the breakage of the piston ring stops.
The stops are instructed in Staybrite steel and the taper altered to a taper of 1 in 14.
The amount of space behind the piston rings has been decreased so as to reduce the bending moment on the stops.
