Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., Experimental Department, DERBY. 25th January 1939 Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of the 7th December, following several further letters, we have now been advised by our American Company that they can supply a Pedal-Pressure Gauge reading from Zero to 100 lbs, but they are not quite certain as to how much increase there will be in the price. I am immediately instructing them to send one of these instruments along, and they advise that it will take them approximately two weeks before they make delivery. We have instructed them by cable so that it will be a further five to six weeks before we can expect the instrument to be delivered at our works. We again express regret at the time taken to meet your requirements which, however, has been due to circumstances quite beyond our control. Yours faithfully, BENDIX LIMITED W. Moore Service Manager.
