Referring to the above and the Board Meeting called for next Monday, I did not intend to write at length on this subject but had prepared some notes to read at the Meeting. However, the receipt to-day of Mr.Royce's memo., R1/MS.4.29, renders it, I think, necessary to supply you with some matter for your consideration prior to Monday's Board Meeting. I attach this in the form of notes. In going through some former papers in regard to this whole question of the 20 HP performance I have come across a memo. from Mr.Hives to Mr.Royce of a year ago, copy of which is attached and which will be self-explanatory.
