Dear Mr. Robotham, Mr. Lucas has asked me to write to you regarding the second pair of experimental lamps the need for which you mentioned in your letter to him of August 16th. I am afraid we made no temporary tools for what we thought would be a "one off job" but we usually obtain a few more spinnings than we actually require at the time when making samples and we are arranging to build another pair of lamps from some which we fortunately have in this instance. As you may imagine our experimental departments are somewhat crowded these days, but I was hoping to have the lamps ready by the end of the month if that would be in time for your requirements. Yours sincerely, R.L. Heins | ||
