Suspension Complaints.

Re your Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}11/HR.11.9.35, and Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}21/HR.12.9.35.

From your demonstrations with Saloon 25 HP. cars where the rear seats are far back, we are quite in favour of a leak past the shock absorber valves being used for certain customers.

We suggest that the leak should be done by a hole in the valve and not by washers raising the valve off its seat, owing to the very small working valve lift.

We should like you to keep a record of the cars you have to modify, together with the type of body and road springs, as it may be necessary always to introduce leaks for full Saloon cars with low rating springs.
