Attached are 2 photographs showing the method we have used to house the tools on the new Bentley body S.B.J., Body No.283. The ribbed platform of the boot door is now hinged, this was strengthened by alum strips and covered with felt, carriage type locks are used. Three sections were cut in the pressed steel lid{A. J. Lidsey}, and separate trays were made to house each group of tools, this was done to avoid wutting the two main supporting ribs. The tyre pump is unscrewed from the handle in position, and then threaded out through the rib, all the tools are bedded in felt. The wheel changing kit is housed under the bonnet.
