Contd. -2- EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}2/F22.6.20. We understand from Mr. Watkins that improvements have been fitted on the later type condensers, and I wish to make itmquite clear that we are still having trouble with the nuts coming loose, as mentioned in paragraph (1). Your urgent attention to this matter will oblige, and whatever cure is effected, instructions should be given for this to be retrospective, and that no further cars should be despatch or put on test unless these modifications have been embodied, also that parts should be supplied so that we can effect this improvement on cars delivered when convenient. It is an important matter, as I do not feel at all satisfied that the battery [handwritten: present] ignition in customers hands in reliable. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
