To EFC. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E2/B11.4.17. Re X.2907 - Flow of Liquids through Orifices and Pipes. With reference to your memo EFC1/AT31317, I think it is preferable to have four points on a curve rather than three, and suggest that we make experimental orifices to the following bores:- 3/64" 3/32" 1/8" 3/16" With regard to the lengths, I think we ought to have four length ratios, 25 diameters, 20 diameters, 15 diameters, and 10 diameters.
