We have had a report from France in connection with 9-G-lll to say that the lubricator on the leather covers at the rear end of the front springs fouls the undershields to such an extent that they have cut a groove in same. This is due to insufficient clearance on maximum bump. They have taken out the lubricator and plugged up the hole.
