| x248. To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}2/KT.1.7.33. BENTLEY CROSS STEERING TUBE BALLS. We have run into low speed wobbles on the Bentley. The only way to cure this trouble is to increase the friction in the steering. At the moment we cannot increase the load on the cross steering tube balls because the unit pressure is about up to the limit. Will you please see whether you can get say a 15% increase in ball pad area, without making any major alteration to the steering arms. We do not mind new cross steering tube ends and balls, but should prefer not to alter anything else. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
