E.2/HP.7.1.36. re Chassis Design Department. --------------------------------- To deal with the increasing volume of work in this department some reorganisation has become necessary, and in future Mr Day will be responsible for design and progress in connection with all sections. He will have Mr Tresilian to assist him in dealing with the technical side of problems connected with current design. Mr Hardy will take over design of rear axles and brake gear in addition to the work already dealt with in his section. Mr Evernden will take over the design of chassis frames, front suspensions, and steering, in addition to the coachwork.
