1097 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB.7/ET. 13th November, 1940. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} PLATT Esq., Engineering Department, Vauxhall Motors Ltd., L U T O N, Beds. Dear Mr. Platt, We have a 1939 Vauxhall 10 and one of the very few criticisms levelled against it here is engine roughness. I believe that, in more recent Vauxhall tens, this roughness has been reduced by mounting the flywheel more flexibly. Could you please let me know whether the improved flywheel will fit the 1939 crankshaft and if so how to describe the new flywheel when ordering. Yours sincerely, | ||
