To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. c. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X8793 EFC2/T11.1.26. X.8793 - LUCAS MAGNETOS FOR EAC. Referring to your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}4/NJ30.11.25, on 11.12.25 we received a visit from Dr. E.C. Turner of the Lucas Co. and he brought with him this magneto, which I understood was duly booked in. We have been making the usual bench tests on this magneto, but we are not putting this on an experimental chassis because we have received in the meanwhile a letter from Dr. Turner, copy of which we attach, from which you will note that we are shortly to receive a further machine from the Lucas Co. with certain modifications with regard to the contact breaker and gears. EFC. EOT/4 of 23.12.25 attached. | ||
