I have received a memo from By/Cgh.{W Clough} re.the above. He states that the trouble was reported some time ago, and a design got out for an additional clip to be fitted at the front end. He understands that chassis now being delivered are being fitted with the clip, so will you please take note whether this is the case on future cars. BENTLEY REAR BRAKE DRUMS. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/Cy. reports that two years ago, the length of the distance piece was increased .037" giving a maximum of .107" and minimum of .062". They have now (5.2.37) altered this length by a further .025" and state - " We are taking action in the Works to ensure that we get at least the minimum clearance " RHC{R. H.
