To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from EFC. c. Ry c. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Thr. c. Ry/WER. 86027 EPC1/T8.6.21. X.294. CARCASE DIMENSIONS OF DYNAMOS AND X.543. STARTER MOTORS MADE BY R.R. Please note, as Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Thr and Ry/WER were verbally informed yesterday, we have received the following telegram from Mr. Royce. "ROYCAR, DERBY. CLARK WE HAVE DECIDED THAT TO BE IN LINE WITH OTHER MAKERS OUR DYNAMO AND MOTOR CARCASE SHOULD BE FOUR AND HALF FIVE AND SIX INCHES DIAMETER. STOP WORK ON ALL OTHER SIZES PENDING INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL RECEIVE TOMORROW. Royce." This apparently affects both starter motor and dynamo for both Goshawk I and II, but leaves the dynamo made from starter motor parts unaffected. MADE AT CROXLEY EFC. | ||
