rear of the relay piston causing it to recede, and in
doing so, will operate the throttles sufficiently to
increase the boost to the rated pressure.

This operation continues as the altitude increases
until the relay piston has receded to its limit at which
position the throttles are fully open, this position being
at the rated altitude of the engine.

Two sketches are appended, shewing the operation of
the system.
