We wish to confirm the policy which has been settled regarding the dashboards to be fitted to the experimental cars in the course of construction. For 10.B.5. 3.B.50 and 30.G.VII, we have instructed a new sloping dashboard to PD.309 and PD.315, and the bodies are being made accordingly. Every effort is being made to get the necessary details into the shops to enable the chassis for the above cars to be provided with this dashboard, prior to them being sent to Messrs.Park Ward, where they [are] due either late this year or early in January of next year. The chassis of 2.B.50 which is due to leave any day has the original sheet/metal dashboard with the latest silent bloc mounting, and the body has been prepared accordingly. With respect to 11.B.5. 12.B.5. and 14.B.5. these chassis should be prepared with the original sheet metal dashboard, equipped with the silent bloc mounting recently instructed.
