Governor Controlled Dampers. - Phantom.

We send herewith N. Sch's 3858, 3859 and 3860 in connection with the fitting of the controlled dampers to the Phantom for production.

N. Sch.3860 shews a strengthened cap for the connecting rod, also suggestions for the spring and elimination of the distance piece.

N. Sch. 3858 gives the modification to the filler asked for by the foundry to simplify the pattern and moulding.

N. Sch. 3859 shews a groove and chamfer on the main damper bush which we consider will be identical in effect with the three holes that now connect the gland to the reservoir.
