| X6092 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/AD. June 17th, 1932. Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd. Great King St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Birmingham. For the attention of Mr. Thacker. Dear Sirs, With reference to the C.A.V. type B.2 regulators which we have been testing now for some time, in conjunction with our own third brush machine converted into a plain shunt, we wonder if you would be good enough to find out for us whether the C.A.V.-Bosch concern would be willing to supply these regulators to us in bulk as a separate item from the combined regulator and dynamo. We should be glad if you would ascertain this for us as quickly as possible. This enquiry is nothing to do with the proposals going ahead for the Bentley Sports car on which you will remember we propose to use the complete C.A.V.-Bosch dynamo and regulator. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
