I wrote to CJ. upon the completion of the standardization Sheet of the 40/50 HP. chassis frame with joggle 1" further back, and asked for his consent to utilise frames produced in this manner on the 20 HP. chassis. At the time I got his consent without any further comment. He then wrote asking me for particulars of what we were putting on "J" Series, and queried the question of the frame, asking if I had a standardization sheet for it. I replied pointing out that I had not a standardization Sheet for this, but considered it perfectly safe, and on the strength of the 40/50 chassis he had agreed. CJ. now writes saying that he thinks we should issue a Standardization Sheet, from the point of view of giving technical officials other than myself an opportunity of recording their views.
