Re. Sparking Plugs For Bentley Car.

Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}5/MO.2.11.33.

If we are asked today to order plugs for the Bentley car we should have no alternative but to recommend Lodge Plugs. We have, however, some modified K.L.G. plugs on test (also running in France) which we think will be satisfactory and as you point out, will be very much cheaper, we should prefer to use them.

Until our tests are completed however we recommend that we carry on with the procedure we adopted on the first 15 cars, that is, fit up half with Lodge and half with K.L.G.

We expect to be able to give a final decision on the plugs in about 14 days.
