+306 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} C. to Mr. Hives for info. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} E/HDY.{William Hardy}2/HP.25.2.36. Front Brake Adjustments - Phantom III 25-30 and Bentley. We send herewith N.Sch.4769 which shows modifications to meet the seizures experienced with these adjustments as described in RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/RH.{R. Hollingworth}1/ETM.4.1.36. Cadmium plating is provided and on the 25-30 and Bentley extra oil holes enable oil to reach the surfaces of the adjustment pieces. The complaint in the same memo about the whole lubricating system being put out of action by a single failure is not easily dealt with, and we do not know of any immediate action that we can take to remedy this fault. E/HDY.{William Hardy} N.Sch.4769 herewith. | ||
