HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Copy to - BI. " WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " CWB. ORIGINAL R1/M17.9.28. 20HP. X5830 X5820 X4565 The Barkerlite body for Trials still requires the balloon tyres - 6" tyres on 20" rims. I cannot understand why these cannot be shewn and supplied to customers. They are a great improvement on the cars I have tested, and the one I am using. The Barkerlite body used for demonstration is not to my mind good. It is such that the passengers would feel as though they were in a show case - (too much glass.) Somehow the 20HP. seems unfortunate in body-work, tyres, etc. We ought to struggle hard to give this car every chance of excelling others of the same size in quality, as we cannot expect to do so in speed performance.
