'SS{S. Smith}' AND 14-G-4. X5770

We propose bringing 14-G-4 the new 20 HP. car to WW. arriving on Friday morning. This car will be fitted with practically all the new parts which are instructed except the controls and the latest rear wheel carrier.

We are also making arrangements for 18-EX car to cross over to France on Friday night from Southampton. We are arranging that the car shall call at WW. on Friday afternoon.

If Sales wish to try this car before it leaves, we recommend they ride in it from Derby to WW. Any criticism they have could then be discussed with R.{Sir Henry Royce}

The SS.{S. Smith} car is now fitted with a quiet rear axle and the brakes are working satisfactorily. There are one or two details, such as - the exhaust system and electrical equipment which we may wish to modify. In this case we propose sending the new parts out to France and they will be fitted whilst the car is there.
